Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions

Barnes & Mullins 5 Year Extended PEAVEY / CREST AUDIO Warranty:

In order to qualify for the extended warranty on your new Peavey product, YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR PRODUCT WITHIN 12 MONTHS OF PURCHASE in the form below. 
Please confirm you have read and understood the terms of the warranty below before proceeding. 

What is this Warranty?

This Extended Warranty is an offer from Barnes & Mullins Ltd, the UK and Ireland distributor of Peavey & Crest Audio Products. This Warranty is only effective for the period in which Barnes & Mullins continue to be the exclusive distributor of Peavey & Crest Audio products in the UK and Ireland. The 36-month Extended Warranty period is not supplied or supported by Peavey Electronics USA or any affiliated companies or parties, and claims will not be honoured by these parties at any time.

The 5-Year warranty includes the period of your 24-month standard Peavey warranty (24 Months + 36 Months Extended) – and Crest Audio standard 36-month Warranty (36 Months + 24 months extended)

How Long this Warranty Lasts

Upon registration online, this Warranty is valid for a total of 5 years (60 months) from the initial date of purchase, as shown on your original proof of purchase from the Authorised UK or Ireland Peavey retailer. Your standard 24-month Peavey Electronics warranty - or - 36-month Crest Audio warranty period constitutes two years - or -  three years of this total five-year warranty, as relevant. 

What this Warranty Covers

This Extended Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship in Peavey & Crest Audio products purchased and serviced in the United Kingdom and Ireland only .

What this Warranty Does Not Cover.

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, rental operations, product modification or neglect;
  • Damage occurring during shipment;
  • Damage caused by repair or service performed by persons not authorised by Peavey:
  • Products on which the serial number has been altered, defaced or removed:
  • Products purchased secondhand, graded or B-Stock;
  • Products not purchased from an authorised UK or Ireland Peavey Dealer.

Who this Warranty Protects

This Warranty is applicable to only the original retail purchaser of the product. This Warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners.

Peavey Enclosures: RBN, HISYS, SP, PVXP, PVX, PV, SSE Sanctuary, Quadra, WS, PHR, Elements C & M Series, Impulse, Versarray, QW Series,

Peavey Audio Processing: Digitool, PV Crossovers, PV Equalisers, VSX Audio Processors

Peavey Mixers: FX, PV, PVAT, XR series

Peavey Power Amps: PV, PVi, CS, PV, IPR

Crest Mixers: Tactus Control, Tactus Stage, Tactus FOH

Crest Power Amps: Pro-200, CC, Pro-Lite, CKD, CI, CPX, CM, CLh, PZS, IPA, UA, UMA, WMA.

Please note: Speakers, Ribbons, Baskets, Drivers, Diaphragm Replacement Kits and Passive Crossovers ARE NOT included in the extended warranty period. These items carry a standard 12-month warranty period from new. Spare parts are available for purchase at https://spares.bandm.co.uk

How the Warranty operates:

Years 1 – 2 (Peavey) / Years 1 – 3 (Crest Audio):

  • Your retailer will administer the initial 24 months/36 months of this warranty. The retailer will take care of your claim from start to finish. Please contact the store from which you purchased your product, and if necessary, Barnes & Mullins will assist the retailer in resolving any issues.

Years 3 - 5: (Peavey) / Years 3 – 5 (Crest Audio):

  • Barnes & Mullins Ltd will repair or replace (at our discretion) products covered by warranty at no charge for labour or materials. In the event of a product requiring replacement, we reserve the right to replace with a reconditioned unit.
  • If the warrantied item needs to be shipped to Barnes & Mullins for warranty service, the consumer must pay the initial packaging and shipping charges. These charges will be discussed during your initial enquiry with our service dept.
  • If the necessary repairs are judged to be covered by warranty, once the item is repaired, Barnes & Mullins will pay the return shipping charges.
  • If the necessary repairs are not covered by warranty, the consumer must pay for return shipping charges.

How to Get Warranty Service

Years 1 – 2 (Peavey) / Years 1 – 3 (Crest Audio):

  • Contact the reseller from which you purchased your Peavey or Crest Audio product. During this initial 24-month warranty period, the retailer will take care of your warranty claim. Ensure you have your ‘sales receipt’ or ‘proof of purchase’.

Years 3 - 5: (Peavey) / Years 3 – 5 (Crest Audio):

  • Call Barnes & Mullins’ Peavey/Crest Audio service dept. on +44 (0)1691 668327
  • We will triage and try to diagnose the fault over the phone as best we can, and if the product needs to be returned, this will be arranged.
  • You will need appropriate packaging for your product. It is your responsibility to ensure its safe arrival. Barnes & Mullins will not be responsible for items damaged in transit due to your insufficient packaging. We can provide appropriate packaging if required, which is chargeable.
  • We may be able to arrange collection of your packaged item from a local pickup point, using an authorised courier company (from within the UK or Ireland Only), but you will need to pay for this collection. This cost, and any additional cost of packaging that you require will be processed whilst on the phone.
  • Along with your product, you must also include: An explanation of all faults; your proof of purchase (a copy is ok); your extended warranty confirmation certificate; your contact details including email address and phone number.

Speakers, Ribbons, Baskets, Drivers, Diaphragm Replacement Kits and Passive Crossovers ARE NOT included in the extended warranty period. These items carry a standard 12-month warranty period.

Please note: Omission of proof of purchase and extended warranty registration, and/or insufficient information pertaining to the claimed fault, will delay your service and may result in the product being returned to you without service, and at your expense.

Limitation of Implied Warranties

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LENGTH OF THIS WARRANTY.

Exclusions of Damages

BARNES & MULLINS’ LIABILITY FOR ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT, AT OUR DISCRETION. IF WE ELECT TO REPLACE THE PRODUCT, THE REPLACEMENT MAY BE A RECONDITIONED UNIT. NEITHER BARNES & MULLINS NOR PEAVEY USA SHALL BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES BASED ON INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF USE, LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS, DAMAGE TO ANY OTHER EQUIPMENT OR OTHER ITEMS AT THE SITE OF USE, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES WHETHER INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF BARNES & MULLINS AND/OR PEAVEY HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other statutory rights, which vary from country to country.
